Saudi Arabia's first Energy Hackathon, bringing innovators together in Riyadh to prototype technology solutions for energy-sector challenges.

The inaugural Saudi Energy Hackathon, held under the theme Ignite Your Ideas, brings young talent and industry specialists together to develop working prototypes against six real energy-sector challenges across operational efficiency, transformative innovation and intelligent control. Challenges include oil and gas facility inspection, power-grid stability with renewable generation, smart fuel stations, hydrogen storage, grid-failure prediction and electricity-load management. Teams receive workshops and mentoring, and selected projects receive entrepreneurial support after the hackathon. Registration closes 16 September 2026.
