LABATHON is a national laboratory innovation challenge held inside the third edition of the Medical Laboratory Innovation Forum, organised by Health Holding Company in Riyadh from 13 to 16 September 2026. Multidisciplinary teams of developers, data scientists, engineers, healthcare practitioners and innovation specialists work on prototypes and scalable digital or operational solutions for laboratory systems, infrastructure and advanced diagnostics. The wider forum programme covers laboratory diagnostics, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and automation, quality and accreditation, and future laboratory technologies, with scientific sessions, workshops and an accompanying exhibition. The Central Research Laboratory at King Saud University is a partner. Venue, registration and access details had not been published officially at the time of listing.
