Why Riyadh needed a tech calendar

Saudi tech doesn't stop after LEAP in February. It runs year-round, across meetups, hackathons and conferences in Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond.

The problem isn't that nothing is happening. It's that the record of it is scattered — a LinkedIn post here, a WhatsApp group there, a Luma page someone shared once and never again. If you weren't already in the right room, you didn't hear about the next one.

This is that running calendar. It is independent and unaffiliated, and it was built by someone moving to Riyadh who wanted it to exist first. It covers the whole year, not one week in February.
